Text Post-pregnancy is one of the most joyous – yet frustrating – times for a woman. Juggling daily life with a new baby is no mean task – it’s easy to forget about you!

But the fitter and healthier you feel – the better for baby and you.

Your body has gone through a lot of changes so its important that you exercise in the right way. At The Training Works you will meet personal trainers certified in post natal assessment and exercise prescription.

What happens at pre or post natal training?

THE TRAINING WORKSPrescriptive post-natal exercise is a personalised, unintimidating way to gently get your body back into shape. It’s time out for you. Your time to recover your fitness and re-energise your system.

You can bring baby along with you. Or just take quiet time out for you.

When can you start post-natal training?

Exercise can start after your 6-8 week post-natal check up, providing you are given the all clear to exercise by your midwife or doctor.

Your trainer will also assess you to identify any issues such as diastasis and pelvic floor control.
